Drive By Series Shots From Behind The Wheel

Xine Segalas is proud to announce that her Drive By Series: Shots From Behind The Wheel is now available on Fine Art America. Her Drive By Series is a project which the idea originated accidentally in 2008 while she was traveling in China. In the two weeks which she and her family explored Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong there was so much to see and not always the opportunity to get out or stop the car that she was compelled to continue shooting despite the less than ideal conditions. Pleased with the results, she continued to add to the collection and kick the series off officially in 2009. All the pieces in the Drive By Series: Shots from Behind the Wheel are shot from a moving car. Currently there are over twenty-five pieces in the collection which range from her travels abroad to places closer to home.

New Series Flower Power

3.18.11, New Canaan, CT - Christine Segalas Photography & Art is proud to announce the creation of her newest and latest series: Flower Power! debuting on her Fine Art America website. Flower Power! is an ongoing collection of art and photography dedicated to celebrating the blossoms of nature which color our world. Currently Flower Power! consists of seven works: Red Mandeville, Touch Me Not, Flower Bouquet, Red Sunflower, Purple Petunias, Purple Clematis and Black Eyed Orange Blossoms. "I've always had a passion for flowers, thanks to my mother. She always had flowers around the house or had me helping her plant flowers in our yard of our summer home. Throughout my life I have amassed a number of photos of various flowers of my own either I have planted in my backyard or were given to me as gifts from my children. Now I look forward to turning these small memories into beautiful works of art for many to enjoy!" To check out Flower Power! check...
